EPQ (Extended Project Qualification)
EPQ (Extended Project Qualification)
The Allama Iqbal College introduces from 2019-2020 session
EPQ (Extended Project Qualification)
scheme for all teachers and students.
This is a must for teacher in every academic year, they submit an EPQ and also under his/her guidance one student will submit an EPQ related to student’s choice topic.
An EPQ (Extended Project Qualification) is, to put it simply, a big independent Project for which you’ll earn qualification. It involves (in any case) writing an essay of about 5000 words, a pretty long piece of paper work about your research and how you approached your project and a final presentation where you’ll talk through this essay and paper work.
Alternatively you can make an, Artfact’ – this can be a piece of artwork, or something else you’ve physically made – and an accompanying shorter essay.
The BEST thing about and EPQ is that you can choose your topic and project title.
As long as your topic and title give you enough to talk about in and ‘academic’ style, you can do whatever you want.
This is exciting, yes, but there are a couple of things you might want to consider if you want to get most out of an EPQ.
