The Code of Conduct of Allama Iqbal College reflects the institution’s commitment to maintaining a harmonious, disciplined, and value-based academic environment. For Students
- Students must maintain discipline, decorum, and punctuality within the campus.
- Respect teachers, staff, and fellow students, promoting a spirit of cooperation and harmony.
- Attend classes regularly and meet the required attendance as per university norms.
- Protect college property and maintain cleanliness in classrooms and common areas.
- Avoid any form of misconduct, ragging, harassment, or discrimination.
- Use mobile phones, internet, and social media responsibly and strictly for educational purposes within the campus.
- Participate actively in academic, cultural, and co-curricular activities.
- Dress modestly and follow the prescribed dress code (if any) of the institution.
For Teaching Staff
- Uphold integrity, honesty, and fairness in all academic dealings.
- Maintain punctuality and commitment to teaching, research, and mentoring students.
- Create a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and creativity.
- Treat all students equally without bias or discrimination.
- Avoid any behavior that could be deemed unprofessional or unethical.
For Non-Teaching Staff
- Be courteous, cooperative, and professional in interactions with students, colleagues, and visitors.
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality in all official matters.
- Maintain punctuality and commitment to assigned duties.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, efficient, and disciplined work environment.
General Guidelines
- The college is a ragging-free campus. Any act of ragging or harassment will result in strict disciplinary action as per UGC regulations.
- Smoking, alcohol, or any form of substance abuse is strictly prohibited within the campus.
- All members are expected to uphold the values of honesty, equality, respect, and responsibility.
- Everyone should contribute towards maintaining a safe, inclusive, and eco-friendly environment.
